You should know about the difference between baffle filter chimney and filterless as well. These are the two most common types that are currently selling in the Indian market. However, both have their own pros and cons so that’s why it is necessary to consider this first.

Baffle Filter Chimney
This is the type of chimney that has a filter inside the hood. These filters are usually made up of stainless steel or aluminum. The function of these filters is simple they filter out the smoke.
So what happened is when you cook something smoky and oily, the smoke containing oil droplets goes through these filters. So these filters soak the oil and let the dry smoke go through the duct.
It is one of the most using chimneys in India because we usually fry a lot in our kitchens.
Filterless Chimney
As its name shows that this kind of chimney does not have any filter. It comes with a hood and duct system and that’s it. And what about oil build-up? Well, this chimney does not use any filter to soak the oil from the smoke. So that oil goes directly through the duct pipe and it gets stuck there.
In order to clean the chimney, there is a built-in auto-clean system that heats the ducting areas and the chamber so the oil starts to melt and it goes down in an oil collector tray. Now you can simply pull out the tray and wash it.

The prominent thing is the low noise for sure. I have tested so many chimneys and they all have some level of noise. But this unit is great in terms of noise.

I fired up a small piece of cloth dumped in oil. I then closed all the doors and windows of the kitchen. After starting the Inalsa, I noted the time taken for the smoke to clear from the kitchen. I repeated the test 3 times and took an average.
The results showed that the Inalsa takes about 5 minutes to clear smoke from a kitchen. Thus, it can be said that the Inalsa has a good suction capacity.
